Privacy notice regarding the processing of personal data drafted and provided by Giovanni Carrieri as Data Controller, pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 "Code regarding the protection of personal data" and pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data of natural persons (GDPR), to Users who visit the website nuntiusarcanus.com.

The following information is provided only for the nuntiusarcanus.com website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the User through links. The Data Controller will collect and process the types of data listed below in accordance with the provisions of the Code and the Regulation.

II. Processing Methods

The Data Controller processes personal data provided and/or collected from users with computer and/or telematic tools, adopting adequate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to systems and, therefore, their unauthorized disclosure, modification, or destruction.

Personal data is also processed in aggregate form, with organizational methods and logic strictly suitable for the purposes indicated in this notice. In some cases, the data may be viewed by categories of subjects authorized by the Data Controller, also called data processors and involved in the organization of the provision of services connected to the website (such as administrative or commercial personnel, marketing department, legal office, or system administrators) or even by external subjects (third-party technical service providers, couriers, hosting providers) who will be appointed, if the Data Controller deems it necessary, as Data Processors. The updated list of Processors and persons in charge can always be requested by the interested party and is available at the Data Controller's registered office.

III. Types of Data Collected and Purposes

a) Contact Data

This data is requested from the User when filling out the information request form on the Site and includes: Name, Surname, Location, Nationality, Mobile Phone Number, Date of Birth, email, and personal website, and may be processed by the Controller for the following purposes:

  1. fulfill specific User requests;
  2. comply with legal obligations;
  3. subject to User consent, to detect their satisfaction level and consent on products and/or services offered, in relation to the analysis of habits and purchasing choices, as well as carrying out market research conducted directly by the Controller.

The purposes referred to in points 2) and 3) can be achieved by the Controller also through the use of cookies, as specified in point V of this notice, prepared pursuant to the Privacy Guarantor Provision of 8.05.2014.

b) Navigation Data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the Site, URI notation addresses of requested resources, request time, method used to submit the request to the server, size of the file obtained in response, numerical code indicating the server response status, and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment.

This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on site use and to check its correct functioning.

c) Data Provision

The provision of Contact Data is mandatory, and failure to provide it, even partially, will make it impossible for the Controller to provide the requested services.

The provision of data for promotional purposes is optional, and therefore there are no consequences in case of refusal.

The User assumes responsibility for Personal Data of third parties communicated or shared through the site and guarantees the right to communicate or disseminate it, releasing the Controller from any responsibility towards third parties.

IV. Location and Duration of Data Processing

a) Location

Data is processed at the Controller's operational headquarters and at the service provider Hostinger International Ltd., located at 61 Lordou Vironos st. 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.

If personal data is transferred to a third country or an international organization, the data subject will be informed of the existence of adequate safeguards pursuant to Article 46 of the "Regulation" relating to the transfer.

b) Processing and Storage Duration

Data is processed for the time necessary to perform the service requested by the User, or required by the purposes described in this document, and the User can always request the interruption of Processing or Data deletion.

Data will not be stored beyond 24 months limited to personal data and only for marketing purposes. For the exercise of the right of defense, the duration of processing will be equal to the expiry of the statute of limitations for ordinary legal action.

V. Cookie Policy

This website does not use Cookies, except for technical ones, and therefore the Controller is not required to provide appropriate information about their use.

VI. Rights of Data Subjects

VII. Right to Object

  • • Where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, the data subject has the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning them for such purposes, including profiling to the extent it is related to such direct marketing.
  • • Where the data subject objects to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data shall no longer be processed for such purposes.

VIII. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to make any changes to this extended notice by publishing it on this page.

If the user does not accept the changes made, they can ask the Data Controller to remove their personal data. Unless otherwise specified, the previous privacy policy will continue to apply to personal data collected up to that point.
