Nuntius Arcanus Features

Nuntius Arcanus

It is not designed, nor intended, as a mass-market software; in fact, no mobile version is currently planned, as mobile devices are considered inherently more vulnerable to attacks and/or analysis. It has been developed exclusively for computers and is aimed at individuals who need to manage confidential information daily, ensuring that it remains accessible only to them.

it's completely anonymous,

User identification is not required. Unlike other communication software, the user does not associate their identity with a phone number or email address but is identified exclusively by a 36-character ID generated by the software upon first launch. The ID can be reset at any time by the user, allowing them to dissociate their identifier from chats easily and flexibly, ensuring an additional level of anonymity.

simple

The steps to create a chat are simple and straightforward, consisting of three phases: choosing a name, creating a master password, and obtaining the 'join code' from the server. Without the join code and master password, no one will be aware of the chat's existence, nor will it be possible to attribute it to specific users during server analysis, unless the chat has been previously deleted by the user. Once the “join code” is received, simply select the chat name from the list of active chats.

and secure,

No one can access the chat without physically receiving both the “join code” and the master password. Although this method may seem less convenient, it is a significantly more secure solution compared to sending credentials over the network, thus preventing potential “man-in-the-middle” attacks.

also for document management

Those sending documents, such as PDFs, images, or Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files, can decide whether to allow file downloads or limit access to view-only mode using the integrated viewer. This viewer decodes the files and displays them directly without creating temporary files on the recipient’s computer.

and it's cross-platform

NuntiusArcanus works on macOS, Windows, and Linux (tested on Ubuntu).
